Month 1
Introduction to Computation & Python Basics
- Introduction to AI/ML landscapes: understanding tokenization, model weights, context windows, and APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic).
- Python programming fundamentals: variables, basic data structures (integers, strings, floats, booleans), conditional loops (if/else), and functions.
- Git version control and repository management: initializing repos, committing changes, resolving merge conflicts, and publishing to GitHub profiles.
Month 2
Local LLM Integration & Workflow Scripting
- Local environment configurations: installing Python runtimes, managing virtual environments (venv), and executing models via Ollama registries.
- Functional scripting: reading and parsing local data (JSON files, text dumps, CSV files), handling API payloads, and error management.
- Designing functional scripting automations: scraping simple web targets and saving extracted files systematically.
Month 3
Capstone Assembly & Specialization Mapping
- Building a functional python script integrating a local Ollama model to process user files (PDF/TXT summaries) as a capstone project.
- Career domain specialization alignment: auditing technical skills to choose between AI Agents, Full-Stack, Scraping, or Data Analytics paths.
- Publishing developer portfolios to GitHub and completing technical reviews to qualify for the DBERT Accelerate track.
